Welcome to the HSS Library Learning Commons Aboriginal Leadership students in Sea to Sky District! We are going to have a great day for the 24 Drum Circle!
 It is a busy week ahead in the HSS Library Learning Commons! Mr. McJannet's English 11 students are continuing to work on their argumentative essays.
Ms. Roblin's Spanish 10 & 11 classes have today to finish their children's storybook projects and restaurant menus.Mrs. Sutherland is looking forward to seeing your presentations tomorrow. We will have cookies to go with storytime! The basketball officials clinic is taking place today at HSS in the library learning commons. Welcome to all students who are participating from Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish!  Mrs. Cormack's French 10 classes will be having their interviews in the library today. Please come prepared to work on your Comic Life project while you are waiting for your turn.  Three new projects are being started in the HSS Library Learning Commons this week. Welcome to Mr. McJannet's English 11 class! We will be working on your argumentative essays and learning how to effectively use databases.
Welcome also to Mrs. Roblins' Spanish 10 & 11 classes. We are startign new PBL projects on children's storybooks and opening a restaurant. REBEL reading bins will be collected during B Block today after the free reading period. They will be ready for pick-up from the library on Monday with new resources!
This is the last day for Mr. Demer's and Mr. McRae's English 11 classes to work on their argumentative essays in the library computer lab. Please be sure to ask Mrs. Sutherland if you have any questions on citations or MLA formatting of your final essay. Today Mrs. Sutherland is looking forward to seeing the Foods 10 final presentations on controversial foods.
It is the District Implementation Day at Don Ross Secondary School. Mrs. Sutherland is looking forward to working with the other teacher-librarians in the district today! We hope that students have a safe and relaxing long weekend.
