Spanish 11 Menu Project (Ms. Shannon)

You have been given the opportunity to own your own restaurant! What do you need to do to be successful?

  • You need to develop and create a menu in Spanish for a particular country
  • The menu must have 5 categories with 25 items minimum. (They must all be authentic dishes of your target culture.)
  • You need to decide on a name, address, phone number for your restaurant and it should be consistent with other examples found on  line from authentic restaurants of your target culture.
  • The menu items should be priced in local currency (and converted if necessary)
  • You need to advertise for your new restaurant . You may choose to create a website, Facebook page, twitter account, online poster etc to promote your restaurant.
  • Finally, once your menu and advertising is complete you will be asked to do a speech in the role of owner or wait staff to recommend some of the specialty items or dishes that your new restaurant has to offer.

First, you should pick the target country and choose a city in which you'd like to open your restaurant. Please choose from the following countries:
  • Spain
  • Mexico
  • Chile
  • Argentina
  • Peru
  • Venezuela
  • Bolivia
  • Colombia
