Creating a Digital Book:
There are several free online book making programs that you can use to create your digital book, but I recommend the following:

When you are illustrating your book, you may choose to use any medium you wish (drawing, painting, collage etc) OR you may choose to use digital images.
If you choose to use digital images you may wish to take your own photos OR find images on the internet. If you are using digital images from the internet, please keep in mind that these are considered intellectual property and we encourage you to find copyright free images using the following websites:

Creative Commons
Flickr- Search for copyright friendly images licensed under Creative Commons
morgueFile -Search the "free images" database to find thousands of photos. This site also offers a virtual classroom for aspiring
                                    photographers.
Images Canada - Provides central search access to the thousands of images held on the websites of participating Canadian
                                              cultural institutions Check the Copyright page for information on use of images
